Though the idea of creating a combination coffee hangout, clothing retailer and motorcycle workshop was an absurd idea to their business planner, JANE Motorcycles founders Alex DiMattio and Adam Kallen pursued their dreams and setup shop just steps from the water in southern Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The operation, which now serves as a hangout for local motorheads, is filled with passion-projects that the duo takes on on a limited basis throughout the year. Whether it’s a restoration or a customization endeavor, the shop only works on a couple of bikes at a time with the caveat that you can’t demand something specific. Adam and Alex casually admit that they’re in charge once your bike gets turned over to them, although you’ll love the outcome regardless of your initial request.
