Leonard Paris Spring/Summer 2017

“The Leonard woman is truly fearless : the proof, if need be, is that she will spend Spring-Summer 2017 crossing the jungle — in the middle of the darkest of nights. Nevertheless, with no other company but the starry sky and the tropical plants, she starts to have hallucinations – not to her dislike. Around her, the luxuriant wilderness has begun to morph into a style lab. The gum trees have poured out their oily sap, on slippery, shiny and textured fabrics. Their trunks take on the appearance of hammered silk crêpe. The palms are suddenly choppy, remixed and vibrate on holographic textiles. She enjoys this chimerical vision: chlorophyll green quenches her thirst, the pink of the hibiscus flower illuminates her path, she even befriends a fragile yet decidedly wild orchid. On the eve on its 60th anniversary, Leonard Paris imagines a modern jungle – real or symbolic, urban or leafy, 3.0 or tangible.“
