NEW YORK — As Fashion Week wends its way toward the finish line, there is an essential port of call, namely the Michael Kors Collection runway show. Wednesday morning for the Spring 2018 collection it was “all about ease,” the opening three words verbatim from the collection notes, followed by ellipses…lots of ellipses. The dots are easily connected, however by the nine models from the Next global network who walked in the show including Selena Forrest, Marjan Jonkman, Hiandra Martinez, Lineisy Montero, Piero Mendez, Bakay Diaby, Wangy, Grace Elizabeth, and Grace Hartzel. Otis Redding’s “Sittin’ On (The Dock of the Bay)” was given a live treatment by Sara Bareilles featuring The Waitress Band, which was just about right as the seated guests watched the the tide roll away…
