Soho comes out to celebrate Jefferson Hack’s shoe collab
The Dazed founder’s collection from Underground launched with a party in the footwear brand’s Berwick Street store
Earlier this month, Dazed co-founder Jefferson Hack announced a collaboration with footwear brand Underground to celebrate its 30th anniversary. To mark the launch, Hack – and some of London’s coolest names – took over Underground’s Soho store for an exclusive preview of the collection.
Among the guests were Michèle Lamy, India Rose James, Princess Julia as well as Another Man’s Ben Cobb and AnOther’s Susannah Frankel, Katie Shillingford and Alexander Fury. Not to mention a group of punk kids – who, like Hack, were wearing shoes from the collection – looking authentically as if they’d just stepped out of 1980s Manchester.
Also in attendance was Another Man’s fashion director Ellie Grace Cumming, who was the styling brains behind the collection’s urban campaign, shot by Max Von Gumpenberg & Patrick Biernert in Berlin. And if that wasn’t enough, music for the night was courtesy of Remi Kabaku – producer and voice of Gorillaz’ cartoon drummer Russel – and Gaz Mayall.
